Talented Artist Kelly, lives with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and required a wheelchair accessible vehicle for medical appointments and community access. WA Charity Direct assisted by providing a portion of the funds for Kelly to finalise the purchase of her own vehicle.

Words can not express how much I would like to thank WA Charity Direct for helping me get my van.
The feeling that I am the proud owner of my first car ever is overwhelming, I still open my front door at home to make sure my car is still there! ️
I am now not having to wait for a taxi in the cold or in the heat, it’s absolutely wonderful feeling to be independent and not have to go through booking a taxi, making sure I have the money, waiting for the taxi to arrive etc.
All I do now is jump in the car with my carer and off we go for an Adventure! I want to thank again WA Charity Direct for helping me achieve my dream and owning my first car! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤
