WA Charity Direct was able to grant the Butler Family’s Christmas wish on Christmas Eve 2014, by confirming that we would fund the purchase of a reliable vehicle. Of the 5 children, the 3 boys all have the blood clotting disorder of Haemophilia. Haemophilia bleeds require immediate attention and ongoing clotting treatment to prevent any life threatening development.
As the family live in Armadale, the regular trips (115 trips in a 7 month period) to Princess Margaret Hospital in Subiaco, the ageing family vehicle was no longer road worthy. WA Charity Direct funded the purchase of a reliable second hand vehicle, which now safely transports the boys to their regular ongoing treatment and care.
