For Christmas 2020, WA Charity Direct supported Matt Haines in his annual campaign of supplying Christmas gifts for children in Care. Upon hearing from Matt, WA Charity Direct immediately provided funding support to facilitate the purchase of gifts for 250 children of all ages.
Matt and his team of volunteers put great thought and effort into the acquisition of each gift and it is a project that takes most of the year to organise. The gifts are distributed at a picnic conducted by the Department of Communities in December at selected metropolitan locations.
