Established in 2017, the Stephen Michael Foundation (SMF) supports young people to become valued members of the community regardless of cultural background, gender, ability or social circumstances. This is achieved through the delivery of sports-based leadership and personal growth programs in targeted communities across WA.
WA Charity Direct recognised the great community work of SMF by providing funding support to deliver the sports based programs. Our support includes the Night Hoops Basketball Roadshow as well as school holiday clinics including youth week carnivals. These programs focus on engaging at risk youth aged 12 to 18 through the delivery of multi-sport activities.
